Andy Rouse Talks To Trowbridge 10 Oct 06 Andy Rouse to speak at Devizes Camera Club Event on Saturday 11 November 2006 at Trowbridge's Arc Theatre.
World renowned wildlife photographer Andy Rouse has long since had a passion for wild things. He has built his reputation on getting close, in fact very close to some of the world’s largest and most dangerous animals; in doing so, capturing some of the most exciting and evocative photographic images of wildlife found today. With a style all of his own, Andy is equally passionate about the message that his images convey and sees his work as contributing to the general appreciation of our precious wildlife, hopefully stimulating us all to act on their behalf. You can see Andys brilliant new Antarctica show at the Arc Theatre in Trowbridge on Saturday 11 November at 7.30pm. The event is hosted by Devizes Camera Club, Andy will be presenting a mixture of his new Antarctica show and some old favourites. Featuring stunning musical pieces, awesome photography and the usual standard of bad jokes and irreverant commentary. The second part of the evening will be dedicated to some of Andys latest work from the UK (including the much requested Kingfisher sequences) plus also his work on the Great Migration, the ever popular Grizzlies and a few surprises. Andy will also have copies of his latest books to sign (cash / cheques only please). Tickets are £7.50 each from Devizes Camera Club, 10 Collett Way, Frome, BA11 2XR. Please make cheques payable to Devizes Camera Club and please enclose sae. Tickets for this event cannot be purchased from the Theatre.
